Everlast Lightning MTS 225 MIG, AC/DC TIG & Stick Welder Package
The Everlast Lightning MTS 225 is a 200A multi-process MIG, AC/DC pulse TIG and Stick welder from the heavy-duty Lightning MTS series (alongside its big brother, the Lightning MTS 275). The PowerSet synergic function auto-sets parameters in all three modes, and the panel shows nearly all relevant settings at once, so there's little scrolling and quick adjustment.
PowerSet lets you enter basic operating parameters in MIG, TIG or Stick mode and selects the right amps and volts (where applicable) for you. A flux-core mode runs most common gasless (self-shielded) flux-core wires. Duty cycle at maximum output is 60% for TIG and Stick and 35% for MIG (200A). Add the PowerCart 250 and PowerCool W400 for a stacked set-up; if you choose the cooler, order the water-cooled torch package for this welder.

Power Supply
Minimum generator surge wattage for maximum output: 9000W on 240V, 4500W on 120V. If running from a generator, use only one its manufacturer rates as "clean power" (typically less than 5% THD); check with the generator manufacturer for certification. Everlast does not approve or endorse generator brands or models, and damage to the welder from a generator not labelled as clean power by its manufacturer is not covered by warranty.
Please note: to get maximum performance from your Everlast machine, make sure the breaker and wiring/socket where you'll use it are sufficient. For example, you may need to upgrade to a 32A dedicated circuit to achieve the machine's full duty cycle. If in doubt, contact a licensed electrician before purchasing, and see our terms and conditions/warranty for more information.
Manufactured to and compliant with IEC/AS 60974.10 and CE. Industrial use only.
