Designed for serious fabrication environments, the PowerTIG 325EXT combines advanced AC and DC TIG functionality with extensive adjustment controls, allowing fabricators to fine tune arc characteristics for maximum weld quality and precision.
One of the standout features is Advanced AC Pulse, which increases penetration when welding aluminium while helping reduce heat input, distortion, and burn through on thinner materials. Waveform control, AC frequency adjustment, and AC balance controls provide exceptional control over arc performance.
- Now with HV Start. This is an advanced type of HF arc start with electronic control rather than older point gap style starts that required maintenance.
- Now with Fan-On-Demand. The fan now runs when it is needed, starting on arc start and terminating as the welder cools down enough after the arc stops.

TIG minimum and maximum capability is generally determined by industry standard practices and governed by practical limits for single and multi-pass welds, aimed at achieving highest quality welds. The Maximum Aluminum thickness expressed here is representative of an increase in normal capability due to the use of the Advanced TIG pulse which uses a high ratio of DC- current to increase penetration.
