Furick BBW Cippy #16 Thermoplastic TIG Cup with Brass Gas Lens (BBWCIP)

The Furick BBW Cippy #16 (BBWCIP) is a thermoplastic version of the popular Furick BBW #16 TIG cup and comes complete with a brass gas lens installed for improved shielding gas flow and weld consistency. The thermoplastic design makes the cup extremely durable and resistant to breaking compared to glass cups while still delivering the wide gas coverage Furick cups are known for.

This cup is designed primarily for light-gauge TIG welding applications and performs best when used with 3/32" (2.4 mm) tungsten under typical DC welding conditions. The thermoplastic material can handle approximately 150–170 amps DC under light to normal welding conditions.

The BBW Cippy cup is supplied with a diffuser and brass gas lens, helping produce smooth and stable shielding gas flow for improved arc stability and cleaner welds. The large cup design also allows better weld visibility and gas coverage, making it popular among TIG welders working on stainless steel, titanium and fabrication work.

Because the cup is made from thermoplastic, it is recommended to avoid prolonged contact with hot metal surfaces, as extreme heat may damage the cup.
